This morning on the way to work, my brother and i were talking about family heirlooms. See, he and i have a shopping addiction (if i haven't made that blatantly obvious by now) and we were thinking that it'd be cool to have something to hand down to our kids. I'm very interested in fashion. I don't like using the word because it has so many bad connotations attached to it, but in a nutshell - it's what i'm interested in. I'm not just interested in how something looks but why it looks the way it does and how it got to that point. I'm interested in the inspirations behind its design and the techniques involved in turning something from concept to concrete.
